My name is Eli and I am a designer with proficiency in graphic design and experience design. I completed a combined degree program from DePaul University finishing with a BFA in Graphic Design and a MA in Experience Design. During my college career I also completed a minor in community service studies and was a community service scholar. The community service scholar program emphasizes service learning and social justice. We learned how to empathize with communities and how to work with them to create solutions that are both helpful and sustainable. I enjoy bringing the values and skills I learned in  that program into my design work. This is why I specifically enjoy human-centered design as it similarly emphasizes building empathy with the community you are working with. I like to think of design as my avenue for problem solving and connecting with other communities. 

 

I am an open-minded and dedicated worker who values working and learning from others. I can collaboratively work well within a team. I really enjoy using design to problem solve and enjoy being able to get creative when coming up with solutions. I enjoy being creative in my free time as well.
